Frequently Asked Questions

We have compiled a list of the most frequently asked questions about our sheds. If you can’t find an answer to your question here, please contact us.

Is the shed cyclone rated?
Yes. Every building is assessed individually, depending on where the shed is being built. Our designs cater for the highest cyclone areas.

Is the shed engineered?
Yes. All JMT Sheds are engineer-designed and certified. You receive engineer’s plans, specification sheets and dimensioned concrete slab or pier layout plans.

Are council fees included in my purchase?
Yes. If JMT Sheds is laying the concrete slab and erecting the shed for you, we include council fees and the relevant inspections.

Is there warranty with the shed?
All JMT Sheds products and workmanship are guaranteed for a period of 12 months.

What is the delivery time?
The average delivery time is 4-5 weeks, depending on the design of your shed.

Will I have to buy hold down bolts and fasteners to build my shed?
No. JMT Sheds supply a complete kit. You do not have to purchase additional screws, bolts or flashings. The kit is complete including easy to follow instructions, silicone to seal the guttering and the attachments for your drill to drive in the screws.

Are flashings included?
Yes. All JMT Sheds come complete with pre-folded and colour co-ordinated flashings for the corners, door openings, window and door heads. Whilst not adding to the structural strength they improve the aesthetic quality of your building.

Is the shed vermin resistant?
Yes. All JMT Sheds are supplied with a flexible polyurethane foam sealing strip to match the cladding profile. Talk to us about other alternatives such as slab rebating and toe moulding options.
